QA Manager

What are we looking for?

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and delivery focused QA Manager for a 9 month fixed term period with the possibility of extending.

As our QA Manager, you'll be at the forefront of quality control, responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing a robust Quality Management System that aligns with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and our company's policies.

 

 

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Leading and managing quality control activities across the production lifecycle, from inspections to audits, process improvement, and training materials.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive QA documentation, including inspection reports and non-conformance reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance with our high-quality standards.
  • Serving as the central point of contact for all QA-related inquiries and issues within Production, facilitating seamless communication between departments.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Procurement, and Product Management, to ensure cohesive quality standards across the business.
  • Working closely with Customer Service and Technical Support teams to address customer complaints promptly and improve RMA processes as needed.

 

 

What you will need to succeed:

  • A bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Six Sigma, CQP, CQM) are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within the electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IPC standards).
  • Proficient in best practices for testing, version control and defect management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability collaborate effectively across a range of manufacturing roles and with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in delivering change across people, process and technology.
