OTIS Integration
As buildings continue to rise, so does the need for a reliable elevator access control solution. Integration with OTIS combines the processing power of Protege GX’s enterprise level integration access control, intrusion detection and building automation system with OTIS modern destination based elevators.
How it works
OTIS integration provides a cost effective, complete elevator control solution. Protege GX communicates with the OTIS elevator system via Ethernet and requires no additional Protege hardware to facilitate the integration.
Integration with Otis destination based elevator systems allows access to elevators and floors to be controlled directly from the Protege GX interface. Users and the associated access levels are configured within Protege GX and are used to validate which floors they can travel to and when. When a user’s access is verified, the Otis elevator system is able to automatically call an elevator to transport the user to the selected floor.
