What It Is

 This integration enables users records, access rights, source floors, and home floors to be programmed in Protege GX and synchronized with KONE Office Flow, creating a unified elevator and turnstile access system  ICT card readers and the Protege GX system controls access to the floors within the building and the KONE elevator system provides elevator controllers and operating panels The Destination 880 Integration is an extension of the HLI Integration allowing up to 32 KONE Group Controllers to be communicated with

  • Users, floor access, access times, and credentials are programmed into Protege GX and synchronized to KONE Office Flow removing the need to double handle user data and reduces errors
  • ICT cards can be read by KONE DOPs/COPs/Turnstiles allowing one credential to be used across the entire building
  • Direct elevator call: Program each users 'home floor' into GX so that an automatic and instant elevator call can be made to their home floor without manual floor selection
  • Source floors are configured in GX and passed to KONE enabling open access across pre-determined floors when tenants are situated across multiple floors
  • Destination control: Allows passengers to select their destination floor before entering an elevator. Groups passengers going to the same floor to the same elevator, thus reducing total travel time and over-crowding 
  • Program user floor access and access times into Protege GX so that tenants/residents can only reach the floors they are allowed to
  • Direct elevator call: Program 'home floors' into GX so that an automatic and instant elevator call can be made to a user's home floor without manual floor selection

 This integration requires an existing KONE Traditional DCS or Turnstile integration using KBM GCAC v1.8, RCGIF v1.12, API v8.5, and Royal GC software v3.4.4. 
Notes  Version must be compatible with the KONE Access 1000 version stated above. The supported lift terminals are determined by the KONE system.   

The Destination 880 integration is an extension of the Protege GX KONE HLI integration, and as such the KONE HLI integration must be configured as a requirement of the Destination 880 integration.
