Protege DIN Rail
5A Intelligent Power Supply

PRT-PSU-DIN-5A

The Power Supply Unit delivers reliable 12VDC power to the Protege system, available in a 5A and 10A model with the same form factor. You can power your ICT or external modules from one space saving unit.

Equipped with a built-in battery charger and battery backup, the system ensures uninterrupted power during outages, while the boot-from-battery feature lets you safely replace batteries without compromising site security, even during extended power losses. Its intelligent charging capabilities optimize performance, delivering enhanced efficiency and reliability across your entire setup.

Features

With its enhanced power capabilities, this upgraded unit supports more devices from a single power supply allowing you to provide your customers with a scalable, high-performance solution that delivers exceptional ROI.

The LED indicators provide immediate feedback on the status of the power supply. LED’s indicate: input voltage, PSU status and fault, output voltage status and current being consumed, and battery and temperature state. In Protege GX these can be viewed live, monitored on a status page or floor plan, or logged for review at any time.

Keep your Protege system running smoothly during extended power outages with a hassle-free battery replacement.

The enclosed design provides more durability and protects internal circuitry from physical damage or electrostatic discharge.

Simplify communication with the built-in RS-485, seamlessly connecting the PSU to the Protege GX network. The PSU has two programable outputs that operate as status outputs when the system is offline, along with a dedicated enclosure tamper input.
