Role Overview:

As the Business Development Manager focused on A&E, you will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing relationships within the Consultant, Architect, Developer, and Builder communities. Your primary objectives include enhancing industry awareness, identifying lucrative business opportunities, and steering the sales of our innovative products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish, maintain, and fortify connections with Consultants, Architects, Developers, and Builders to drive business development efforts.
  • Prospecting and Networking: Identify, engage, and qualify new leads and prospects aligned with our sales strategies.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain relationships with existing clients while attracting and onboarding new partners.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee opportunities, maintain an organized pipeline of potential clients, and ensure data accuracy within our systems.
  • Salesforce Expertise: Manage and update critical data within Salesforce and relevant business platforms to drive performance and meet set KPIs.
  • Exemplary Presentations: Conduct impressive product demonstrations both remotely and in-person, showcasing our offerings with finesse.
  • Collaborative Approach: Work seamlessly with Sales, Technical Engineers, and Customer Support teams to ensure holistic client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years in a significant sales role with a track record of surpassing targets.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Sales Tools Proficiency: Experience in Salesforce, Cordell, or equivalent sales tools is highly preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities tailored to various stakeholders.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rivet) is advantageous.
  • Bonus Points: Prior knowledge in physical security hardware or dealer sales is a valuable addition.
